My passion began since I was a little girl. I grew up in the city of Piura-Peru where my idea of helping stray dogs originated. After high school, my passion to be a veterinarian lead me to study two years of veterinary medicine at Nacional university of Piura until I moved to USA in 2008. Once in USA, she had to start all my studies over. Dr. Apolo graduated from Ross University of Veterinary Medicine with high honors where at the same time started her company "VolunteerB&S". She performed her clinical rotations at University of Florida. Following veterinary school. She completed a one year internship in Virginia at Regional Veterinary Referral Center before founding THIS COMPANY. Her passion about veterinary medicine are Emergency critical care, Neurology, and Surgery.
Daniel Nichols DVM, MSc
Dr. Daniel "Dr. Dan" Nichols started his veterinary career as a licensed technician in 2005. In 2018 he graduated from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine where he obtained both his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine and a Masters by Research in clinical pathology degrees. He received his excellence in Pathology Award from Ross University. Dr. Dan's clinical courses were completed at the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine. Following Vet school he completed a one year internship in Virginia at VCA SouthPaws Veterinary Specialists & Emergency Center before Co-founding THIS COMPANY. His interests in veterinary medicine include companion animal and exotics anesthesia, surgery and emergency/critical care. Additionally, Dr. Dan has a special interest in providing low cost care and surgery for animals and owners in under developed countries and a love for teaching young vets. Dr. Dan is committed to the progression of the veterinary medicine and the production high quality and functionally sound medicine. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family and participating in outdoor activities like hiking, rafting and target archery.
